Learning From The Local Rehabilitation Assistive Devices Symposium

       Genteel recently attended the 'Assistive Devices Foshan Standard Symposium' at Foshan Open University. Throughout the symposium, we engaged in a comprehensive discussion on the establishment of scientific and rational local standards for assistive devices. Experts from the Foshan Institute of Quality and Standardization generously shared their experiences and insights into formulating and implementing local standards, providing valuable guidance to fellow assistive device manufacturers. Genteel and other manufacturers actively participated by sharing their challenges and uncertainties in the production process, hoping to find solutions through this symposium.

        Following thorough discussion and exchange, a consensus was reached: establishing scientific and rational local standards for assistive devices is vital for promoting the healthy development of the rehabilitation medical supplies industry. Both sides expressed their commitment to jointly promote the formulation and implementation of local standards, with the aim of delivering  higher quality and safer assistive products for the elderly.
